LAVONNE H. BALL

Services for LaVonne H. Ball will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church with the Rev. Tom Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ball, 89, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, in her home. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church and the Elizabeth Barnes Circle.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn F. Ball of Meridian; a brother, Albert Berry of Des Moines, Iowa; several nieces and nephews, including, Gene Gleaves of Daphne, Ala., the Rev. Glen L. Gleaves of Salt Lake City, Dr. James R. Gleaves of Meridian, Paul Baker of Niagara Falls, Richard Baker of Fairfield, Conn., Nanette Albano of Virginia Beach, Va., William Berry Jr. of Rumson, N.J., Kenny Berry of Santa Cruz, Calif., Susan Berry of Des Moines, Betty McCulley of Scottsdale, Ariz., JoAnne Campbell of Wapello, Iowa, Lois Banks of San Antonio, Texas, and Warren Ball of Wapello, Ind.; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Elmer Berry of Baxter, Iowa; a brother, William M. Berry; and two sisters, Bernice Baker and Leona Gleaves.
The family requests memorials be made to First Christian Church of Meridian.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.
VALERIA LEE MIXON

Graveside services for Valeria Lee Mixon will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Carl White officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mixon, 94, of Marion, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, at Benchmark Health Care.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell F. Mixon.
The family requests memorials be made to Highland Child Development Center.
EVA RUTH TURNER

HATTIESBURG Graveside services for Eva Ruth Turner will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Hullet-Winstead Funeral Home of Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Turner, 104, of Hattiesburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Wesley Medical Center. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Charles W. Turner of Sun City Center, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
SALLIE GULLEY
Services for Sallie Gulley will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greater Allen Chapel A.M.E. with the Rev. Deverio Mannings officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gulley, 94, of Meridian, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, in Los Angeles. She was a retired cosmetologist and a minister's wife.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie Gulley Rhinhardt of Los Angeles and 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Fred Gulley.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the church.
SUIDE H. BARTEE

Services for Sudie H. Bartee will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Excel Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bartee, 72, of Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Leon Hood, and her brother, Elevester Richardson Jr., both of Meridian; and six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Robert Jackson Jr., 47, who died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Loramie, Wy.
