OBITUARIES FOR WEDNESDAY, NOV. 28, 2001

MINNIE L. ELEBY
Social worker with Welfare Department
Services for Minnie L. Eleby will be held today at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randall Bohannon officiating. Burial will be in Blackwater Cemetery in DeKalb.
Mrs. Eleby, 67, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in Tulsa, Okla.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Sim of Colorado Springs, Rowland Brady of Virginia; three daughters, Michelle Eleby and Dianne Eleby of Tulsa and Saretia Bradley of Meridian; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
DOLLY BREVARD FARQUHAR
Elementary education teacher
YORK, Ala. Services for Dolly Brevard Farquhar will be held today at 3 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sandra Price officiating. Burial will be in York Cemetery.
Mrs. Farquhar, 75, of York, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Robyn Farquhar of York.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Farquhar.
The family requests memorials be made to the Parkinson's Society or the Leukemia Society.
Visitation will be toady one hour prior to the service.
PAUL D. MABRY
Retired from Kerr-McGee Chemical
Services for Paul D. Mabry will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church with the Revs. Tom R. Sikes and William McKnight officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mabry, 88, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from Kerr-McGee Chemical Forrest Products Division. He was an elder in First Christian Church, a past member of the Rotary Club and the Bethany Sunday school class.
Survivors include a son, Paul D. Mabry Jr. of Saint Paul, Minn.; a daughter, Mary Frances Isley of Seneca, S.C.; brothers, William S. Mabry of Memphis, Tenn., George Mabry of Lake City, Fla., Leon Mabry and Lewis Mabry of Lake; two grandchildren, Meredith Isley of Boston and Adrienne Isley Swift of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a great-grandchild, Jordon Swift of Cincinnati.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elisabeth Thigpen Mabry.
Pallbearers will be Scott Morgan, Dr. David Gilmore Sr., B.B. Archer, Charles Balchnus, General Fred Feinstein and Roger Covington.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
WINNIE JANE HALL JOHNSON
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Services for Winnie Jane Hall Johnson will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Sudduth officiating. Burial will be in Memory Hill gardens.
Mrs. Johnson, 66, of Gainesville, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Johnson Jr. of Gainesville; daughters, Lisa A. Hall and her husband, Jimmy, of Lauderdale, Miss., Lynn Orr of Tuscaloosa, Patty Cole and her husband, Jeff, of Saint Simons Island, Ga.; brothers, Gray E. Hall of Ralph and Bernie "Tubby" Hall of Opp; four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
PATRICK JOHNSON
Services for Patrick Johnson will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Oak Grove Baptist Church in Quitman with the Rev. Hubbard Arrington officiating. Burial will be in Elwood Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson, 35, of Pachuta, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his parents, Mingo and Bennie Lee Johnson Sr., three sisters, Earnestine Barnes, Peggy Johnson and Mary Johnson, and four brothers, Ray Charles Johnson, Mingo Johnson Jr., Robert Johnson and Frank Johnson, all of Pachuta.
KATHERINE JUANITA DEAN ZINGELMANN

BUTLER, Ala. Memorial services for Katherine Juanita Dean Zingelmann will be held Thursday from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. in the chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Eldridge officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Zingelmann, 70, of Butler, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Meadows-Zingelmann of Butler and Bobbie Jean Turner of Melvin; three brothers, Charles B. Dean Sr. of Meridian, George Walter Dean and Clayton Benjamin Dean Jr. of Atlanta; six sisters, Lillie Mae Wright of Toomsuba, Mary Rosalie Jones of Collinsville, Betty Lou Burnside, Ethel Patricia Gray, Marilyn Delores Simcox and Sarah Frances Hill, all of Meridian; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Louis Zingelmann and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bumpers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 705, Butler, AL 36904.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
