Roy, Birdsong

Stacie Marie Birdsong and Wesley Todd Roy, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Victorian Gardens Wedding Chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn., with the Rev. David A. Howard officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Birdsong of Winona, Brenda Birdsong of Pontotoc and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Roy of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Havens of Winona, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Birdsong of Indianola.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mildred Thierry of Vandilia, Ill., and the late William Thierry; Alice Gaylord of Montgomery, Ala., and the late Marvin Roy.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Stephanie Birdsong of Meridian attended her sister of maid of honor. The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
A reception was held at Calvary Christian School on Aug. 18. Assisting at the reception were Jaime Eldridge, Jamie Pogue Garvin, Misty Vinzant Reynolds, Kim Chesney Hollie and Shine Pogue.
After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, the couple resides in Meridian.
