Angela Dee Church and John Christopher Jones, both of Brandon, were married Saturday Oct. 6, 2001, at Jones Chapel Church of God with the Rev. James K. Williams officiating.
Parents of the couple are Gary and Christine Church, Phil Jones, and Andy and Lorraine McLaughlin, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Griffith and Mr. and Mrs. George M. Church of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. John Jones of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Deloris Bailey.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a princess style floor-length gown of embroidered organza that fell into a chapel-length train. The gown was enhanced by long sleeves of felt edged with miniature pearls matching her gown. The rounded neckline was enhanced by her grandmother's pearls. Her shoulder-length veil was also edged with pearls and attached to a rhinestone and pearl crown.
Amy Barrett of Ridgeland attended the bride as maid of honor. Bettye Farmer, sister of the bride, and Andrea McLaughlin, sister of the bridegroom, both of Meridian, served as bridesmaids.
Roy Fowler of Rose Hill served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Doug Davidson of LaGrange, Ga., Andy Miles, Steve Jones and Chris McNeil, all of Meridian. Kristian Farmer of Meridian was ring bearer.
Program and guest register attendant was April Talley of Meridian.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Margaret Harris, Al Griffith, Ashley Farmer, Rhonda Talley and Rosemary Mason.
After a honeymoon trip, the couple resides in Brandon.
