DECATUR Collegiate rodeo competition returns to the area later this month when the third annual "Warrior Showdown Rodeo" is held at the Neshoba County Coliseum in Philadelphia.
Sponsored by the East Central Community College Rodeo Team, the three-day event starts Oct. 25, with activities getting under way at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Also planned is a "slack rodeo," which starts Oct. 26 and is offered free of charge to the public.
In addition to rodeo competition, several "jackpot" events are scheduled. (For more information contact Tracy Dearing at ECCC, extension 205.)

The Warrior Showdown Rodeo is sponsored in part by a grant from the Neshoba County Tourism Council.
