OBITUARIES FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 26, 2001

Retired hosiery mill machinist
Services for Joseph Percy Scarbrough will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roy Dabbs and Richie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Sandtown Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Scarbrough, 96, of Meridian, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, in his home. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Bishop of Atlanta; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pearl Scarbrough; a son, Eugene Scarbrough; a daughter, Margie Averett; and a brother, Less Scarbrough.

Retired from James River Corp.
Services for Stanley C. Dollar will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Dollar, 56, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church Fannin of Brandon.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Dollar, a son, Jeff Dollar and his wife, Tiffiney, all of Brandon; two daughters, Kristy Bridgers and her husband, David, of Winston Salem, N.C., and Morgan Dollar of Brandon; grandchildren, Shane, Dakota, C.J. and Matthew Dollar, Alli, Caroline and Winn Bridgers; his mother, Jean Dollar Bishop of Meridian; a sister, Cheryl Dollar of Jackson; and a brother, Chuch Dollar of Madison.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy C. Dollar.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Culpepper, Rusty Culpepper, Mike Culpepper, Landis Culpepper, Tommy Spears, Ray Ethridge, V.J. Crenshaw and Wylie Hodges.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of James River Corp.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Eunice Irby, 81, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at The Speciality Hospital of Meridian.
