Gunter, Singleton

Frank and Christine Gunter of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristy Faye, to Barry Singleton, son of Everette and Barbara Singleton of Mobile, Ala.
The wedding will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. Little Log Wedding Chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late James and Geneva Gunter of Meridian and the late Charles and Mattie Porter of House.
Miss Gunter a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center and received a degree in communications from Meridian Community College. She is currently employed at Great Southern National Bank.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Audie Elbert and Nella Pose Singleton of Mobile and Ottie and Evelyn Cochran of Citronelle, Ala.
Mr. Singleton is a graduate of Shaw High School in Mobile. He is currently employed at Earth-Grains Bakery in Mobile.
