Swanson named VP
at PaineWebber Inc.
Gregory K. Swanson has been named vice president for investments at the Meridian office of UBS PaineWebber Inc.
Swanson, who also serves as the office's mutual funds coordinator, has six years of experience in the securities industry. He began his career with PaineWebber as a financial adviser.
A graduate of Texas Christian University, Swanson holds a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is a member of First Christian Church. He and his wife, Jane, have two sons, Eric and Jeffrey.
Wilson earns seat
on Million Dollar
Round Table
Jeffery Wilson, an agent for New York Life Insurance Company in Meridian, has earned membership in the 2000 Million Dollar Round Table a distinguishing life insurance career milestone attained only by those who have demonstrated superior professional knowledge, experience and client service.
Wilson has been a New York Life agent since 1999, associated with New York Life's Mississippi General Office in Jackson. He is a registered representative for NY Life Securities Inc.
A native of Meridian, Wilson is an ambassador for the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation, and a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
Wilson received his bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University and worked 15 years in the manufacturing sector. He and his wife, Melissa, have two children, Tyler and Heather.
