    OBITUARIES FOR SATURDAY, AUG. 4, 2001

    CHARLES LEWIS HARRISON SR.
    Retired Sears employee
    Services for Charles Lewis Harrison Sr. will be held today at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Claude Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Little Rock.
    Mr. Harrison, 77, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He retired from Sears after 35 years. Mr. Harrison also served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a longtime member of Highland Methodist Church and very active in his church.
    Survivors include three children, Charles Lewis Harrison Jr. and his wife, June, of Jackson, Roger Dale Harrison and his wife, Carol, of Brandon, and Robert David "Bobby" Harrison and his wife, Debbie, of Meridian; a brother, Leon Harrison and his wife, Margaret, of Little Rock; a sister, Dorothy "Dot" Green and her husband, Russell, of Mobile, Ala.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Rubye Merle Vance Harrison; and two brothers, Herman and Morris Harrison.
    The family requests memorials be made to Highland Methodist Church.
    Pallbearers will be Charles Lewis Harrison Jr., Roger Dale Harrison, Robert David "Bobby" Harrison, David Harrison and Janie Walkers, Chuck Harrison and Roger Harrison Jr.
    Visitation will be today from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Onie Mae Williamson will be held today at 11 a.m. at Mars Hill United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery in Neshoba County, with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
    Miss Williamson, 87, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Neshoba County General Hospital.
    Survivors include two sisters, Joe Williamson and Wilma Kirk, both of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
    MACK M. BOLES
    Retired from City of Meridian
    Services for Mack M. Boles will be held today at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Melvin Boles and Charles Miles officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mr. Boles, 84, of Meridian, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, in his home. He was a veteran of World War II.
    Survivors include three children, Sherrill Cochran and her husband, Robert "Bobby" Cochran; Alan Boles and his wife, Teresa, all of Meridian, and James Marshall Boles and his wife, Grace Marie, of the Meehan community; seven grandchildren, Alana Boles, Donna Chambers, Debbie House, Dana Strickland, Susanna Erickson, Mickey Boles and Leslie Paul Boles; two brothers, Leo Boles and Rev. Melvin Boles and his wife, Rosie, all of Meridian; three step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Mae Boles.
    Pallbearers will be Rev. Mike Boles, David Boles, Ronnie Boles, Aubrey Irby, Virgil Dearman, Gene Dearman and Kevin Boles.
    Visitation will be today beginning at 11 a.m.
    LUCILLE CHANEY DENNIS FRICKE
    Retired legal stenographer
    PHILADELPHIA Services for Lucille Chaney Dennis Fricke will be held today at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Billy Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
    Mrs. Fricke, 84, of Destin, Fla., died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, in her daughter's home in Destin.
    Survivors include two daughters, Betty Dennis Hankins of Huntsville, Ala., and Becke Fricke Barr of Destin; a son, Larry H. Fricke of Jackson; a sister, Marguerite White, three brothers, Morris Chaney, A.J. Chaney and Leroy Chaney, all of Philadelphia; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
    The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Northwest Florida.
    HOMER JERALD SOCKEY
    SEBASTOPOL Services for Homer Jerald Sockey will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Isaac Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Sockey, 52, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include five daughters, Dsyna Sockey, Valana Sockey, Deena Sockey, Desha Sockey and Lawan Willis, all of Philadelphia. Six brothers, Tony Sockey of Carthage; Mike Sockey of Conehatta; Terry Christie of Tunica; Larry Christie of Philadelphia; Eddie Christie and Rick Christie, both of Ardmore, Okla. Three sisters Katharine Christie of Kansas City, Kan.; Mary Allen Denson and Sue Helen Comby, both of Walnut Grove.
    He was preceded in death by his father Homer Socker and his mother Wanzie Isaac Sockey Christie.

    Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in DeKalb for Lula W. Reed, 73, of DeKalb, who died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
