    SANDERS, GRIFFIS

    Mr. and Mrs. David L. Sanders of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Lee, to William Wright Griffis of Irving, Texas. He is the son of Tim and Susie Corbett of Irving and Bill and Linda Griffis of Philadelphia.
    Wedding vows will be exchanged on Saturday, June 16, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
    Grandparents of the bride-elect are Lamar and Mary Grace Day of Philadelphia and the late Ivey Vowell; Bertha Sanders of Bentonia and the late Creed Sanders.
    Miss Sanders is a graduate of Philadelphia High School and East Central Community College. She is a senior at Mississippi State University Meridian, majoring in elementary education.
    Grandparents of the bridegroom-elect are David and Margaret Laney of Meridian, Bill and Rebecca Corbett and Patricia Corbett of Irving; Lavelle and Jean Goldman, the late Pat Griffis, and Jerome and Margaret Hardy, all of Philadelphia.
    Mr. Griffis is a graduate of Irving High School. He attended Dallas Baptist University and Mississippi State University.
    He is currently business manager with Griffis Ford.
    A reception will follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Griffis. Friends and family are invited to attend.
    PHILLIPS, DOCKERY
    Rusty and Paula Phillips of Cullman, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ann, to Jason R. Dockery, son of Ronnie and Dee Dockery of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
    The wedding will be held Saturday, June 9, 2001, at 3:30 p.m. at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman.
    Miss Phillips is the granddaughter of Betty K. Phillips of Cullman and the late Lt. Col. William R. Phillips; Florence Harris of Sumpter, S.C. and the late Zeb Harris.
    The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University.
    Miss Phillips is employed by the Morgan County School System.
    Mr. Dockery is the grandson of Sarah and James Lee of Tuscaloosa, the late Ottis Dockery and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Harless of Tuscaloosa.
    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School and received a bachelor of science degree in forestry from Mississippi State University.
    Mr. Dockery is employed by the Alabama Forestry Commission.
    A reception will be held at the All Steak Restaurant following the ceremony. Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
    DIAL, MCDADE
    James and Debra Dial of Livingston, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Carla Danielle, to Joseph Austin "Jody" McDade, son of Joe McDade of Scooba and Kathy and Tim Domenget of Meridian.
    The wedding will be held Saturday, May 26, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Briggs Chapel Memorial Church in Porterville.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of W.D. and Jackie Cochran of York, Ala., and the late Carl Truelove; Sadie Dial of Livingston, Ala. and the late James C. "Bill" Dial.
    Miss Dial is a graduate of Sumter Academy in York and the University of West Alabama. She is currently employed at Hillcrest Academy in Jackson.
    The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Harold and Opal Riley of Meridian and George and Marguerite McDade of Scooba.
    Mr. McDade attended West Kemper High School and is currently employed at Shuqualak Lumber Company.
    An outdoor reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the home of Jack and Susan Warbington of Boyd, Ala. Family and friends are invited to attend.
    CARAWAY, COLE
    Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ronnie Caraway of Jasper, Ga., formerly of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Brook, to Shannon Vincent Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Cole of Austell, Ga.
    The wedding will be held Friday, May 25, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Bent Tree Lakeside Resort in Jasper, Ga.
    Miss Caraway is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Drake and Betty Caraway and the late Milton Caraway, all of Meridian. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John K. Collins of Meridian.
    The bride-elect is a graduate of Pickens High School in Jasper and Nan Hall Grooming School in Greensboro, N.C.
    Miss Caraway is a professional groomer with Pet-Smart in Kennasaw, Ga.
    Mr. Cole is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Smith of Austell. The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Pickens High School. He is employed by Wal-Mart in Kennasaw.
    A reception will be held at the resort following the ceremony. Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
    WILLIAMS, MAYFIELD
    Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lee Williams of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Aubrye Michelle, to Robert Allen Mayfield Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen Mayfield Sr. of Natchez.
    The wedding will be held Saturday, June 9, 2001, at 6 p.m. at First Christian Church in Meridian.
    Miss Williams is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian V. Purvis; Martha W. Williams and the late Richard G. Williams, all of Meridian.
    The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center and is currently pursuing a degree in music education at Mississippi College.
    Mr. Mayfield is the grandson of Mrs. William Boyd Holley of Shreveport, La. and the late Mr. Holley.
    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in church music and a master's degree in conducting from Mississippi College.
    Mr. Mayfield is employed by Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison.
    A reception will be held at Union Station following the ceremony.
    PATTON, MCDANIEL
    Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dowe Patton III of Quitman announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Suzanne, to Nathan Oliver McDaniel, son of Elsie McDaniel of Vossburg.
    The wedding will be held Saturday, July 7, 2001, at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Quitman.
    Miss Patton is the granddaughter of Mrs. Leroy Dowe Patton Jr. and the late Mr. Patton and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Austin Smith Jr., all of Quitman.
    The bride-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts from the University of Mississippi. She received a master of arts degree in audiology from Louisiana State University.
    While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Pi Beta Phi social sorority, Golden Key National Honor Society, Ole Miss Ambassadors, the Student Alumni Council and was a participant in the Study Abroad Program in Queretaro, Mexico.
    Miss Patton is employed by Jackson Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic.
    Mr. McDaniel is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.L. McDaniel of Heidelberg and the grandnephew of the late John Oliver Manning and the late Freda Lee Manning of Vossburg.
    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School and received an associate of applied science degree from East Mississippi Community College.
    Mr. McDaniel is employed by Schlumberger.
    A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club in Meridian following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
