    HARRIS, CARTER
    Brandy Carter and Donsha Harris, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at Lively Stone Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Robert Johnson of Hattiesburg officiating.
    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Ondray Harris, all of Meridian.
    Grandparents of the bride are Ethel Carter of Meridian and the late George Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Golden Hall of Meridian.
    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Annie Gordon, Robert Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jenkins, all of Meridian.
    Music for the ceremony was provided by Marsha Burks, soloist.
    The bride was given in marriage by her father.
    Matrons of honor were Alicia Carter and Tauna Thomas. Bridesmaids were Ashley Harris, Khalia Dunn and Mitzie Alford.
    Flower girls were Brianna Roy, Kadesha Houston and Yendami Alexander.
    Best men were Ondray Harris Jr. and Richard Lewis Jr. Groomsmen were Terrance Clayton, Prochorus Patton and Jephun Merritt.
    Ushers were Glenn Burks, Patrick Thomas, Billy Hill and Marcus Hudson.
    Candle lighters were Crystal Carter and Xavier Harris. Train bearer was Jatavius Lewis.
    A reception was held at the Council of Organizations following the ceremony.
    The couple resides in Atlanta.
    LINTON, COWART
    Marsha Jenae' Cowart of Denham Springs, La., and Owen Bruce Linton II of Kalamazoo, Mich., were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at Amite Baptist Church in Denham Springs. The Rev. Michael Linton, brother of the bridegroom, conducted the double-ring ceremony, with Derik Thornton, cousin of the bride, giving the reading of scripture and charge to the bride and bridegroom.
    Parents of the couple are Billy and Eva Wales of Denham Springs, Ray Cowart of Bogue Chitto, and Owen and Cheryl Linton of Denham Springs, formerly of Meridian.
    Soloist was Rene' McCrary, accompanied on the guitar by her husband, Tim; and pianist, David Easley.
    Given in marriage by her father and stepfather, the bride wore a gown of white matte satin featuring a bateau neckline embellished with a band of pearls and bugle beads. The natural waistline was also banded with pearls, bugle beads and delicate flowers fashioned from pearlescent beads. The pleated skirt fell into a chapel-length train accented with a double line of buttons.
    Her fingertip-length veil of satin banded illusion was attached to a headband of white pearls. As an accessory to her gown, the bride wore a pendant of pearls and diamonds, a wedding gift from the bridegroom.
    Kim Thompson of Denham Springs attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Vona of Denham Springs, cousin of the bride; Etta Linton of Clarksville, Texas, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; and Jodi McCleary of Denham Springs. They wore black floor-length skirts of Duchess satin with sleeveless, fitted tops of platinum and black matlasse.
    Junior bridesmaid was Jessica Cowart of Denham Springs, niece of the bride.
    Miniature bride was Lakyn Wales of Zachary, La. Flower girl was Emma Suzanno of Baton Rouge, La.
    The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Ken Booker of Jackson, cousin of the bridegroom; Jay Shute of New Milford, Conn., and John Cowart of Denham Springs, brother of the bride. Junior bridegroomsman was Ethan Boyd of Gilbertown, Ala., cousin of the bridegroom. Ushers were Jonathon Boyd of Gilbertown, cousin of the bridegroom, and Joseph Halphen of Central, La.
    Ring bearer was Tyler Cowart of Denham Springs, nephew of the bride.
    On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom and his parents entertained the wedding party and out-of-town guests with a rehearsal dinner at North Park Recreation Center.
    A reception was also held at North Park Recreation Center following the ceremony.
    After a wedding trip to coastal Maine, the couple resides in Kalamazoo, where the bridegroom is facility controller for Fort James Corporation.
    MATHIS, WARREN
    Melissa R. Warren and Ryan L. Mathis, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at Cornerstone Church of God, with the Rev. Clarence Tilghman officiating.
    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Warren and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Mathis, all of Meridian.
    Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Griffith; the late Mr. and Mrs. Arrell Lee Page and the late Orien Warren.
    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Nell Lovett and the late W.L. Lovett; Bertha Wood and the late Pete Wood.
    The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of white Duchess satin featuring a princess line gown and off-the-shoulder neckline. The short bodice was complemented with corded lace and swirls of pearls. The back was enhanced with buttons and satin rosebuds and featured a chapel-length train accented with rows of lace and pearls.
    She wore a waist-length satin headpiece of pearls and rhinestones.
    Heath Phillips served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Mathis, Christina McVay, Brandi Smith and Minday Warren, all of Meridian. Flower girl was Lydia Warren.
    Randy Mathis served his son as best man.
    Groomsmen were Joey Andreacchio, Justin Richardson, Chris Troxell and Brian Warren, all of Meridian.
    Tanner Luzio served as ring bearer. Usher was James Davidson.
    A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
    Servers were Dana Briggs, BreAnn Garrett, Nicole Haygood and Nancy Phillips.
    The couple resides in Meridian.
