December arrives quickly, even when we think we are prepared for it. Lights go up, schedules fill, and daylight disappears earlier each afternoon.
It is not technically winter yet, but the colder days hint at its arrival being in the not-too-distant future. People move through their days in a rhythm that feels different from any other time of year.
