Trulove withdraws from council race; Strickland is duly elected

RED BAY — Herbert Trulove, incumbent Place 3 member of the city council, has withdrawn from the Sept. 23 runoff election. 

As a result, his challenger, Jonathon Strickland, becomes the duly elected representative for Place 3 for the next term. 

Strickland will take office on Nov. 3.
