Latino Heritage Festival canceled

The third annual Latino Heritage Festival has been canceled for 2025. The Franklin County Latino Heritage Festival Committee released this written statement.

“Our hopes and wishes that everyone is doing okay, we have had amazing experiences throughout our two years of community involvement. Our main goal as committee is to promote and share Latino heritage, culture, gastronomy, and beliefs. We are all really thankful to have been embraced by this wonderful community. A lot of us came from different countries and we have learned to embrace this country and feel proud to be a part of Franklin County. At the same time, by sharing our culture, we are trying to promote ‘unity in our community,’ which is the most important part of our work, to help finish building the gap on the bridge between the already established community and the families that took the courage to start a now journey in this great country. Unfortunately, this year, 2025, we won’t be able to make the 3rd Latino Heritage Festival happen, although we keep working to make 2026 even better than the previous years. Our commitment is still very much alive to keep sharing our different cultures. A big thank you to everyone, especially our sponsors and vendors, for trusting our project. A good day to everyone, and we will see you all in 2026!!”
