Franklin County Times gets new customer service representative

Daisy Thorn is the new customer service representative for the Franklin County Times. She follows in the footsteps of Sommer Morris who held the role for ten years. Daisy is from Haleyville, Ala, and went to school in Lynn, Ala. She attended Northwest Shoals Community College where she earned an associate’s degree in medical assisting.

Daisy has been married to Anthony Thorn, of Russellville, for 18 years. They have six-year-old twins, Logan and Emmy. In her spare time, Daisy likes to read, including mysteries and romance novels. She and her family have a “backyard farm” that includes a goat, sheep, chickens, rabbits and two dogs.

In her most recent employed role before joining the Franklin County Times, Daisy worked at Rural King as the customer service manager. She stayed at home with her children for six years. Daisy said she’s enjoying learning the ropes in her new role and looking forward to seeing where it takes her.
