PHOTOS: The Roxy’s Christmas Spectacular

The Roxy’s Christmas Spectacular, now in its third year, enjoyed another successful run in the Historic Roxy Theatre Dec. 811.

Presented by the Franklin County Arts and Humanities Council and Showcase Theatre Company, production staff included writer and director Hillary Malone Hall; production stage manager Jonathan Grimes; costume manager Ashley Grimes; choreographer Kaylee Brandon; assistant manager, member of arts council board and returning cast member Gaspar, Gunner Lane; marketing and publicity, Krystal Hyde; and publishing and design, Hester Printing.

“Holiest of Nights” was written by Denise Davis Arnold and Christian Strignano and produced by Beachfront Productions and Cliff Downs.

Story narrators included Tingler Productions, Doug Arnold and Eric George. Stage crew included Rodney Bray, Cohen Burban, Clayton DeMartin, Brayden Douthit, Paisley Holloway, Dustan King, Tucker King, Laura McDuffa, Brian Mouser and Brent Wells.

In all, the cast included nearly a hundred members, featuring a new actor in the role of Fred the Elf, Zy Traywick. Other roles represented familiar characters known and loved by many.

The audience joined Fred on his adventures as he learned about the true meaning of Christmas while celebrating along the way.
