PHOTOS: Competition day prepares teams

The Russellville Golden Tigers hosted a varsity football competition day in July to prepare for the upcoming season.

Joining head coach John Ritter’s RHS team were players from Buckhorn, Carbon Hill, Central-Florence, Colbert Heights, Elkmont, Good Hope, Hanceville, Lauderdale County and West Limestone.

The event took place at the RHS stadium and practice field.

The teams competed in seven-on-seven passing offense against defense and offensive line versus defensive line drills.
