Vernell Williams Rider, 87, died July 28, at Generations of Red Bay. Funeral services will be Aug. 1 at noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence. Visitation will be Aug. 1, 10 a.m. to noon at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
