ASU names top students for spring

In May Athens State University honored the students named to the President’s List and Provost’s List for the Spring 2019 semester – including several from Franklin County.

“Through much hard work and determination,” explained the honoree announcement, “these students excelled in their coursework and achieved remarkable academic success.”

From Franklin County, President’s List honorees are:

  • Ciara Whitten of Phil Campbell
  • Myra Webster of Red Bay
  • Madelyn Price of Russellville
  • Alana West of Russellville
  • Hanna Malone of Spruce Pine

From Franklin County, Provost’s List honorees are:

  • Ryan Scott of Phil Campbell
  • Kasey McKleroy of Russellville
