Russellville library hosts story, craft time
Library worker Perla Martinez read the book “Animal Parade,” written by Christine Ricci with illustrations by Tom Mangano – a story was about Dora and her friends and the challenges they encountered and solved along the way as they traveled to see an animal parade.
After reading the book, it was time to make a craft. Continuing with the animal theme from the story, the selected activity was making paper mosaic hedgehogs.
Also in keeping with the theme, the provided snack was animal crackers.
The next event will be June 19 at 1 p.m., a patchwork quilt program with Carol Fretwell, designed for children in fourth grade and older.
