Russellville Reads: Library welcomes all to weekly programming

The library hopes all of our hard-working patrons enjoyed their three-day weekend. We sure did! Now that we are rested, it’s back to business as usual.

Every first Friday of the month, join us at 10:30 a.m. for bilingual story time hosted by Mrs. Perla. Then at 3:30 p.m., come on out for game day. The library has a nice inventory of board and table top games available for all ages.

Every second Saturday the library has a family movie at 11 a.m., and every third Thursday the library holds an adult program in the common area.

As always, our schedule is posted on the library’s website at www.russellvillepubliclibrary.com, so feel free to check it out and call 256-332-1536 with any questions.

Don’t forget, as part of the Alabama Bicentennial 200-year celebration, the library offers free access to Ancestry.com Library edition. So if you’ve been wanting to follow your family tree back to the roots but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg in doing so, stop by and see us!

The library now offers eBooks and Audio MP3s for your convenience. If you don’t have a new library card, stop by 110 E. Lawrence St. and get yours today!

Check us out on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for up-to-date information.
