Local school systems announce delays

The Franklin County and Russellville City Schools systems will delay opening Thursday and Friday this week.

These systems will each open two hours late Jan. 4-5 because of inclement weather.

Temperatures are expected to be in the teens these mornings and in single digits with wind chill.

The delays were announced Wednesday afternoon from the respective central offices.
