Investigation continues following fire, theft from local pawn shop

When local authorities responded to a fire at Mike’s Pawn Shop in Russellville Sept. 4, a burglary – and suspected arson – were discovered, with guns ultimately determined stolen in the theft.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is working with the Russellville Police Department and in conjunction with local, state and federal authorities in investigation of the incident.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the suspect(s)’ arrest. A person of interest has been identified from security footage, and his photo has been disseminated by the ATF.
