Shelia Diane George

Shelia Diane George, age 62, Russellville, passed away March 10 at her residence.

Shelia was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all who knew her.

The visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. March 13 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Sister Pearl Shelton. Burial will be at Hyde Lake Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Sylvia Tidwell and husband Roy, Reba George and Jeff George and fiancé, Crystal Pharr; grandchildren, Katie Tidwell, Andrew Tidwell, MaKayla Kellum, Ethan George, DaKota George and Tyler Anglin; brothers, Thomas Keith Willis, Randy Willis, Roger Willis and Kevin Willis; niece, Christina Willis; nephews, Alan Willis and Forrest Willis; and her ex-husband, J.W. George.

She was preceded in death by her father, Freedmont Turner “Andy” Willis; mother, Mary Alice Willis; and niece, Brandee Willis-Swafford.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurses at Russellville Hospital, Alacare Hospice, Dr. Dyas and Dr. Santos for the special care shown to our mother. Also a special thanks to Dustin Green, Kathy Flanagan, and the many family and friends who have called, visited, brought supplies and prayed for the family.
