Evelyn Geraldine Nix

Evelyn Geraldine Nix, 82, of Tuscumbia, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Cottage of the Shoals.

Mrs. Nix was a native of Franklin County, and a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Phil Campbell.

The funeral service was held Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery, Phil Campbell. Officiating was James McCullar. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Survivors include children, Theresa M. Campbell and husband, Horace, Dale Nix and wife, Shirley and Craig A. Nix and wife, Angela; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zan and Nellie Mae Lawler; husband, A.C. Nix; eight brothers and sisters.
