Dennis Ray Messex, Sr.

Dennis Ray Messex, Sr., age 61, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation will be 1–2p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with a memorial service following at 2p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bishop Paul Williams.

He is survived by his children, Dennis Messex, Jr. and wife, Theresa, Betty Jo Sill and husband, Brian A., Tammy Watson and husband, Rickie Sinks, Wilbert Messex and wife, Christina, Cindy Messex and husband, James Owens, Peggy Messex and husband, Andrew Brown, Bobbie Jo Messex; 23 grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Messex, James Messex, Billie Jo Messex, Jacob Palmer, Sean Messex, Cathy Jo Messex, Brian Sill, Mildred Messex, Katelyn Carter, Camerron Carter, Tristen Carter, Brayden Messex, Daniel Sinks-Messex, Hally Sinks-Messex, Amanda Messex, Steven Messex, Jamie Owens, Levi Owens, Jack Owens, MaKayla Brown-Messex, Emma Brown-Messex, Wyatt Brown-Messex, Logan Brown-Messex; siblings, Gene Messex, Joe Messex, Mike Messex, Christina Jones, Glenice Shipley, Donald Messex; mother of his children, Bonnie Sue Harris and husband , Carl, Aaron Harris; and a host of nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Leslie Messex and Mildred Elizabeth Simmons Messex; brother, Johnny Messex; sister, Reva Messex; aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral expense of Mr. Messex.
