Music takes center stage

The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce Watermelon Festival is a treat, most would agree. With an extensive line-up of talented musicians and other entertainers, festival-goers can feast their eyes and ears all weekend long. The following performers will take the stage this weekend:

Friday – Main Stage

5:45 p.m. – Opening Ceremony with National Anthem performed by Jessica McSpadden

6 p.m. – Kerry Gilbert Band

7 p.m. – Dixie Mafia

8 p.m. – Rewind

9 p.m. – Rush of Fools

Saturday – Roxy

10 a.m. – Introduction of Pageant Winners

10:15 a.m. – Xtreme Twirl

11 a.m. – Crossing Dixie

(noon – lunch break)

1 p.m. – Russellville Bell Ringers

1:30 p.m. – Tara Greenhill students

2:15 p.m. – Kaid Wright

2:30 p.m. – Hannah Keller, Haley Peters, Charlie Gordon

3 p.m. – Holly’s Dance Studio

3:30 p.m. – Lucas Shepherd

3:45 p.m. – Mike Rice

Saturday – Main Stage

4 p.m. – Jarred Pierce

5 p.m. – Briana Lawler

6 p.m. – Joseph Baldwin Band

7:15 p.m. – The Springs

8:30 p.m. – Jamie O’Neal

Musical entertainment will also be provided by First Born Sons (at First Baptist Church park, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday) and by Billy Boyd (at the tractor show).
