Rebecca “Becky” Sue Mayfield, age 64, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Becky was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to all.   She was a member of the Church of Christ.

The visitation was Friday, June 19, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.   The funeral will be was Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Greg Reynolds officiated.   Burial was at Tharptown Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory,  her children, Nicholas Mayfield, Matthew Mayfield and wife, Jordan, Sarah Mayfield; grandchildren, Brooklyn Massey, Baxton Mayfield, Lily Mayfield, Keylee Mayfield, Ashton Michael; sisters, Laura Nelson and husband, William, Johnnie Ruth Dill and husband, Charles; and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Larry Wade Mayfield; parents, Charlie Bruce Sandy and Clara Dena (Flippo) Sandy; siblings, Rachel Prince, Elizabeth Stover, and Larry Sandy.

The pallbearers will be Dustin Hargett, Robert Malone, Dustin Winsted, Jeff Gregory, Joel Ergle, and Seth Utley.  The honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Osborn, Bo Wellington, Ricky Lovelady, Bill Jackson, Jerome Green, and Lee Dunn.
