Dorothy “Dot” Weems Logan

Dorothy “Dot” Weems Logan, age 83, Russellville, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation will be 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Charlie Britnell officiating.   Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Ronnie Logan; grandchildren, Amanda Logan, Russell Logan; sister, Lola King; special nieces, Linda Saint, Vicky Brown, Gloria Webb, and Genelle Jackson; as well as several other nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, O.C. Logan; infant daughter, Donna Gail Logan; parents, J.B. & Lula Weems; siblings, Willie Robinson, Nellie Myrick, Lonnie Weems, Johnny Weems, Rebecca Brown, Mary Catherine Weems; special brother & sister-in-law, J.R. & Carrie Byrd.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone at Russellville Health Care, Terrace Manor, and Russellville Hospital for the kindness and care shown to our mother & grandmother.  A special thank you also to Jayne Wells for your love and care.
