Junior G. Jackson, 65, died Sunday, June 14, 2015 at UAB, Birmingham. He was born in Alabama and was a factory worker.
Services will be Thursday, June 18, at 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. J.C. Blackburn officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Judy Jackson, Red Bay; three children, Jennifer Jeanette Ables and Joanna Jo Childers and husband, Lance, all of Red Bay, and Jana Jae Heatherly and husband, Billy, of Florida; four grandchildren, Tisha Leonia Ables, Damian Boyd Heatherly, Ryan Anthony Heatherly and Christabella Alexandria Childers; his mother, Clarice Jackson; three brothers, James Jackson, Donnie Jackson and Darrell Jackson and one sister, Sharon Wildmon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Veloise Jackson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, and 8 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
