Barbara Sue Looney, age 63, Russellville, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.   She worked for several years as a LPN at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation was Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel, the funeral followed in the chapel.   Officiating was Bro. Gerald Ricketts.  Burial was at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 47 years; Roland Looney; daughters, Renae Stegall and husband, Keith, Terri Hill and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Molley Vandiver, Ryan Saint, Benjamin Stegall; great-granddaughter, Christine Hooven; sister, Sandra Suddith and husband, Randy, brother, Kenneth “Sambo” Laws and wife, June; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Toni Looney; mother, Frances Ricketts; father, Buford Ricketts; sister, Fay Wilkinson; and brother, Eddie Ricketts.

The pallbearers were Randy Suddith, Ethan Ricketts, Chris Waldrep, Benjamin Stegall, Keith Stegall, and Tim Skidmore.   The honorary pallbearer was Kenny Ricketts.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses who took care of our family.
