Barbara Jean Proffer, age 67, Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at her residence.

The family had a graveside service, Monday, May 11, 2015 at New Bethel Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Kevin Mansell and wife, Jill; grandchildren, Alicia Smith and husband, Stephen, Matthew Mansell, Eric Mansell, Jacob Mansell, Molly Mansell; great-grandchildren, Abbie Kirby, Isaac Kirby, Zachary Smith, Haley Smith; mother, Vera Miller Noel; sisters, Linda Chetta and husband, Joe, Bonnie Noel; brother, Mike Noel; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Billie Dale Proffer, Jr.; father, Henry Noel; and infant sister, Joann Noel.
