Rocky Lee Shewbart, 61, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Franklin County, and was a heavy equipment operator for more than thirty years.

Services were Saturday, March 14, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay. Burial was in Burnout Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are his wife, Cynthia Shewbart, Red Bay; three children, Kevin Shewbart, Red Bay, Charlie Fernandes and wife, Ashley, Columbus, Miss. and Jennifer Evetts and husband, Dexter, Belmont, Miss.; one grandchild, Ashton Evetts; four brothers,  Eddie Shewbart, Danny Shewbart, Edward Shewbart and Timothy Shewbart and three sisters,  Angela Shewbart, Debbie Shewbart and Donna Shewbart.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Shewbart and a sister, Amy Shewbart.

Pallbearers were Charlie Fernandes, Deon Luster, Benny Sweeney, Dexter Evetts, Joshua Shewbart and Bradley Shewbart.

Visitation was Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
