Johnnie Vernon Hall, age 80, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Hall proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and National Guard during the Korean War and many years afterwards.  He was a Sergeant, a member of the 82nd Airborne, 1stCalvary, V-team, made 13 jumps and was a rifleman.   He worked many years as a plumber in the Russellville area.

The visitation was Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral was Sunday, Mar. 1, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.   Officiating was Bro. Vernon Cummings.  Burial followed at Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville with full military honors.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Page; parents, W.E. and Ida Hall; and brother, Ray Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 60 years, Frances Vernell Searcey Hall; sons, Johnny Hall and wife, Terri, Ernest Lee Hall, Vernon Ray Hall; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Selvagene Dobbs and husband, Windom; and several nieces and nephews.
