George W. Sartin

George W. Sartin, 83, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 at his residence.  He was born in Alabama to Dewey and Luella Sartin and worked at American Motors for thirty years.

Services were Monday, Feb. 2, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, RedBay, with Bro. Steve Lindsay officiating.  Burial was in RidgeCemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors include six children, George Wayne Sartin, Becky Lindley, Terri Frei and husband, John, and Randy Sartin and wife, Pat, all of Golden, Miss. and Royce Sartin and Byron Sartin, both of Red Bay; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and two sisters, Willie Mikels and husband, Chuck, of Waukegan, Ill. and Lovie Dykes of Red Bay.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Leona Sartin and a son, Davie Sartin.

Pallbearers were Anthony Lindley, David Frei, Jeremy Sartin, Jonathan Humphres, Shane Petree and Kyle Sinkbiel.

Visitation was Sunday, Feb. 1, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay.
