Preston Gilbert Borden, age 73, Russellville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at Helen Keller Hospital.
The visitation was Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service was Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating was Bro. Nick McSpadden. Burial was at Aycock Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his son, Alvin Borden; parents, Ruphus & Mary (McBride) Borden; and several brothers & sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Malina Alban, Teresa Anderson, Preston Borden, Linda Allen, Gilbert (Bubba) Borden, Sharon James, Vince Borden, Tammy Borden, Cindy Ezell; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and host of nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers were Jason Vandiver, Casey Johnston, Cody Anderson, Jeff Lambert, Vince Gaudio, and Daryl Vandiver.
