Elizabeth Pate Rickard, 94, Russellville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Generations of Vernon.
The visitation will 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Keith Barnett. Burial will be at FranklinMemoryGardens.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Dean Rickard and wife, Beth, Rogersville; sisters, Vera M. Shelton Miss., Janette S. Hoar Tenn.; grandchildren, Bradley, Kevin, and Matthew Rickard, Michael Timms; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ancel G. Rickard; children, Rodney Rickard, Susan Parrish; grandson, Zachary Parrish; mother, Lucy Turbyfill Pate Shedd; father, William Estel Pate; step-father, John W. Shedd; brothers, Harold Shedd, George T. Pate, Gerald Shedd, John W. Shedd, Jr.; and sister, Ruth Wynn.
The pallbearers were Bradley Rickard, Kevin Rickard, Matthew, Chris Rickard, Charles Rickard, and Bobby Rickard.
