James “Buddy” Wilmer Malone

James “Buddy” Wilmer Malone, 89, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at his residence.

Mr. Malone was a lifelong resident of FranklinCounty and attended Bethlehem Baptist church. He was retired from Jim Walter Resources and was a member of Masonic Lodge #881 of Littleville.

The funeral service was Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in BethlehemCemetery. Officiating was Edward LouAllen and Randy Taylor. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday.

Survivors include children, Marie Tullis, Margaret King and husband, Donald; daughter-in-law, Joyce Malone; brothers, Hershel Malone and Leon Malone; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; Jerome Green; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Bradley Malone, Joseph LouAllen, Gerald Lane, Jimmy Patrick, George Allen and Rat Allen.

He was preceded in death by parents, Brady and Pearl Malone; wife Pauline Malone; children, Joe, Harlon and Ralph Malone; brothers and sisters, Frances Fisher, Doris Elder, Audrey Malone, Catherine Pounders, Martha Ann Beard, B.J. Malone, Faye Glenn, Ossie Malone and Roger Malone.
