Horace Hargett Green, age 80, Russellville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014. He was born Tuesday, Aug. 21, 1934 in Franklin County to Earl and Lorene Green.
He was a member of AlvaChapelBaptistChurch in Mt.Star and attended NewFriendshipMissionaryBaptistChurch in Belgreen.
The visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The service was at Spry Memorial Chapel. Speaking at the service was Bro. Andy Cansler. Burial followed at FranklinMemoryGardens.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Malone Green; son, Mike Green; granddaughter, Tina Green McNutt; father, Earl Green; mother, Lorene Green; siblings, Ralph, Homer, Betty, J.C., Milton, Ted, Billy.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, David Green and wife, Deborah, Peggy Britnell and husband, Billy, Patsy Green Cornelison; special daughter-in-law, Connie Green; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one special blessing on the way; siblings; Terry Green, Mary Woodruff, Jo Ann Williams and a host of nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers were Roger Enchiff, John Darty, Tommy Sanders, Carl Bolton, Daniel Smith, and Russell Woodruff. The honorary pallbearers were Roney Murphy, Danny Black, Kenneth Craddock, and Harold Green.
