Charley O”Neal “Bud” McNatt

Charley O’Neal “Bud” McNatt, 65, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born in the Halltown Community and worked for Red Bay Housing Authority. He attended FirstUnitedMethodistChurch in Halltown.

Services will be on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Scott Lindsey and Bro. Bill Harper officiating.  Burial will be in HalltownCemetery, Vina.

Survivors are two sons, Clayton McNatt and Levi McNatt, both of RedBay; the mother of his children, Janice McNatt, RedBay; step-son, Jason Oliver, Tucson, Arizona.; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Lavell Mayfield and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy McNatt and Verda Barksdale McNatt and two sisters, Linda Davis and Betty Jo Noble.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Weatherford, Wade Barksdale, Alton Barksdale and Randy Rogers.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay, and until service time Wednesday.
