Betty Jo Herndon, 81, Russellville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at her residence.
She lived her entire life in FranklinCounty and was a member of DuncanCreekBaptistChurch.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 from noon until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Harley Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow in DuncanCreekCemetery.
Survivors include son, Doug Reed; daughter, Deborah Contreras Mitchell; grandchildren, Chris Contreras, Sabin Contreras, Norman Mitchell, Brian Mitchell, Dustin Mitchell, Brandon Reed, Kimberly Alexander, Phyllis Mills; 18, great-grandchildren nephew, William Robert Jackson, Jr.; nieces, Margaret Jackson and Lynn Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Reed, Sabin Contreras, Dustin Mitchell, Brian Mitchell, Nick Alexander and Colby Contreras.
Honorary bearers will be Norman Mitchell, Braden Mitchell, Oneal Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by husband, Howard M. Herndon; parents, Robert and Willie Emma Jackson.
