Donald Joe “Donnie” Henson, 61, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2104, at his residence. He was born in Franklin County, and worked for Tiffin Motorhomes for 28 years.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, RedBay, with Danny Fuller officiating. Burial was in PleasantSiteCemetery.
Survivors are wife, Joyce Henson of Vina; two sons, Clay Henson and wife, Natalie, and Chris Henson and wife, Alicia, all of Vina; three grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Preston Henson, Olivia Henson and Vince Henson; one sister, Conita Grigsby and husband, Steve, of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Rickey Henson and wife, Scarlot, of Athens, and Nicky Henson and wife, Diane, of Red Bay; host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Eva Winchester Henson and a step-son Anthony Henson.
Pallbearers were Dexter Winchester, Arthur Carl Winchester, Adam Henson, Brian Thompson, Ricky McKinney, and Garrett Henson.
Visitation was Sunday, Dec.7, 2014, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay.
