Red Devils fall to Cherokee

The Vina Red Devils lost a close game to the Cherokee Indians Friday night 45-40.

Larry Haithcock led Vina with 10 points.

Cherokee led Vina 13-9 at the end of the first quarter. Vina came back to take a 24-21 lead into the locker room at halftime. Vina extended their lead to 33-26 at the end of the third quarter. Cherokee staged a big fourth quarter comeback outscoring Vina 22-7 to take the win.
