David Hester

David Hester, 69, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at his residence. He was a business owner and a member of Old Burleson Baptist Church.

A celebration of life service was Saturday, Oct. 25, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, RedBay, with Alton Hester and Carl Lewey officiating. Burial was in CedarCreekCemetery, RedBay.

Survivors are one daughter, Rita McDonough and husband, Steve, Muscle Shoals; wife, Carolyn Hester, Russellville; one brother, Gene Hester, Vina; and two sisters, June Creekmore and Barbara Weaver, both of Vina.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Hester; his parents, William Travis Hester and Mary Lou Miller Hester; two brothers, Robert Hester and Billy Hester; a nephew, Wayne Weaver; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Hester.

Pallbearers were Chris Hester, Marty Hester, Chase Knoblock, Colby Knoblock, Brandon Oliver, Horace Lewey and Rodney Hester.

Visitation was Saturday, Oct. 25, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay.
