L.B. Hallman, 75, Haleyville, passed away on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at Haleyville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Hallman loved his family and enjoyed being around his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When able, he was very active in church at HawkinsMemorialChurch.

The visitation was Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral that followed. Officiating at the service was Bro. Donnie Turner.  Burial was at Blue SpringsCemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Annie Hallman; daughter, Paula Marie Hallman; and son, L.B. Hallman, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Martha Hallman; children, Benjie Hallman and wife, Judy, Gary Hallman and wife, Debby, Pam Self and husband, Donald, Wendy Milligan and husband, Steve; nine grandchildren, Darryl Hallman and wife, Carol, BJ Hallman and wife, Shae, Tonya Pate and husband, Michael, Tyler Hallman and wife, Emma Ann, Darla Roberts and husband, John, Tiffany Self, Amanda Milligan, Sharon Darwin and husband, Donald, Hayden Milligan; eight great-grandchildren, Austin and Angela Hallman, Kylie Hallman, Ben Hess, Lily and Tanner Pate, Parker Hallman, Kyle Perez; sister, Avvis Motes; brothers, Clovis Hallman, O’Neal Hallman, Alton Hallman, Ollie “Verdo” Hallman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers were Darryl Hallman, BJ Hallman, Hayden Milligan, Tyler Hallman, Steve Milligan, and Donald Self.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Reddy and his staff, Comfort Care Hospice, and the Haleyville Health and Rehabilitation Center for the love and care shown towards our family
