Billy Hamilton, 75, of Littleville, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Oct. 18, 2014, surrounded by his family at home.

Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating was Bro. Dennis Steward. The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday.

Billy was retired from Reynolds Metals Company after 23 years. He served as an assistant business agent for Reynolds Metals Aluminum Workers Local 200.  He was a member of AlvaChapelMissionaryBaptistChurch where he loved to sing for the Lord.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Clovis Seal Hamilton; daughters, Donna Hamilton, Lana Hamilton Allen and husband, Rat, and LeAnne Hamilton Murray and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Jennifer Harrison Denton and husband, Brian, Jessica Harrison Killen and husband, Tyler, Zack Allen and husband, Whitney, Kent Allen, Jordan Murray and Blake Brummett, and Jaceton Murray; great-grandchildren, Cooper Allen, Harrison Denton, Adelaide Denton; very special nephew and niece William “Butch” Stedham and Teresa Stough.

He was preceded in death by infant son, Gregory Gene Hamilton; parents, Johnny Boyce “Shorty” and Hazel Kent Hamilton; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and O.M. Stedham.

Pallbearers were Lloyd Baker, James Bingham, Jake Presley, Jamie Myrick, Chad Green, Oneal Uptain and Bobby McWilliams.

Honorary bearers were L.C. Jeffreys, Dan Whited, Joe Lipscomb and Don Bradford.

Special thanks to Dr. William Heaton, Dr. Ronald McCoy and staff and Southern Care Hospice.

The joy of his life was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He loved supporting all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in everything they did.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. God has richly blessed him with a wonderful life.
