Wilbur Amo Salow, 92, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at the Red Bay Hospital.  He was born in Michigan and worked in maintenance at the University of Michigan for thirty years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and serving in World War II.

Services were Saturday, Sept. 27, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, RedBay, with Bro. Marshall Emerson officiating.

Survivors are three children, David Salow and wife, Jo, Williamston, N.J., Marcy Cavanaugh and husband, Mike, Blairsville, Ga., and Suzanne Brand, Red Bay; two sisters; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Salow and a son, Dennis Salow.

Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 27, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay.
