Brenda Joyce Wilson, 64, of Tremont, Miss., passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness. She was born June 17, 1950 in Itawamba County to the late James Gordy Wilson and the late Eva Dell Ledbetter Wilson. She was a member of ProvidenceBaptistChurch. She enjoyed growing flowers, working crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her Jack Russell Terrier named Daisy.

Services were at the ProvidenceBaptistChurch on Saturday Sept. 27, 2014, with Rev. Jimmie Lucas and Rev. Lynton Younger officiating. Burial was in the ProvidenceCemetery.

Survivors include her Brothers: James Robert and wife, Floyce, Wilson of Baton Rouge, La., John A. Wilson and wife, Sandra, of Tremont, Charles Ross Wilson and wife, Mary Helen, of Golden, Gerald Lee Wilson and wife, Jimmie Lou, of Florence, Lanny Gordon Wilson and wife, Becky, of Tupelo; Sisters: Judy Rogers and husband, Lowell of Tremont, Shirley Whitfield of Red Bay, Janice Shephard and husband, Mike, of Bartlett, Tenn., Jackie Lucas, and husband, Jimmie, of Tremont; Several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister, Helen Stone; brother-in-law, John Whitfield; Niece, Denise Lucas; and nephew, Little John Wilson.

Pallbearers were Larry Wilson, Michael Wilson, Shaun Rogers, Eddie Wilson, Gordon Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, James Wilson, and Michael Wilson.

Visitation was Saturday September 27, 2014, at ProvidenceBaptistChurch.
