Roy Monroe Fowler, 80, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 22, 1934 in West Virginia and was an employee of Ford Motor Co. for 27 years.

Graveside services were Saturday, May 17, at Bonds Cemetery, Russellville, with Mike Deaton officiating.  Burial was in Bonds Cemetery. Survivors are two sons, Mike Fowler and wife, Tammy and Lonnie Fowler and wife, Vicky, all of Red Bay; two grandchildren, Kaitlin Fowler of Red Bay and Jim Fowler of Arkansas; and seven brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were Stewart Ozbirn, Stacy Ozbirn, Daniel Rogers, Bobby Pharr, Merle Justice and Greg Dees.

Visitation was Friday, May 16, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
