Edward Melvin Moland, 61, Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Mr. Moland served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

The visitation will be 12 – 2 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.

He is survived by his daughter, Jana Mears and husband, Chris; son, Eddie Moland, Jr. and wife, Tina; grandchildren, Deana Mears, Matthew Mears, Katelin Mears, Cotlin Moland, Kaylin Moland, Tyler Moland; siblings, Helen Laster and husband, Ray, Jan Moland Evans and husband, Randy, Mildred Puckett and husband, Charles, Ruby Howard, John Brannon and wife, Brenda, Maria Johnson and husband, Glen; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry and Ruby Christine Moland; brother, Danny Moland; and sisters, Doris Watkins and Lisa McCormick.
